Upclose with Jon!
Last night I went to a New Kids on the Block concert. First we had a before party to get pumped up and remember all the good times. Then we went to the concert and Natasha Bedingfield was the opening act. She was great.
Then came New Kids! The entire audience stood and danced the whole time. They put on a wonderful show and they still dance great even at 40ish years old. Then after the show we waited around to catch a glimpse. We were very determined since Katrina met Donnie earlier in the day after 3 hours of camping out. The rest of us were a bit jealous. It was bitterly cold. We might have caught a glimpse of a couple of the guys but it was hard to tell who it really was. So, after about 45 minutes of standing in the freezing cold we decided to wait in the car to follow the tour bus. After about an hour of that we could see flashes outside. We ran! We got a quick upclose look at Jon! We'd just missed Joe, but it was all worth it.
About 45 minutes later Donnie and Danny's tour bus left. We followed. They headed for downtown, we got excited but then they went back to the 80 towards San Jose. We decided to just call it a night at 2 a.m. San Jose was a bit far for the night.
I had a great time! Thanks to the fun girls I was with! 2 a.m. feels a bit later at 30 then it did at 13!

Yes, I'm still recovering from our crazy late night out but it was ALL WORTH IT!!! That was the BEST time! I'm so glad you got to have your own close encounter with a New Kid! Fun pics.
